DIRECTIONS
Sand floors with power sanding machine using 2/0 (100 grit) paper for final sanding operation. Remove all dust. Apply first coat of LACQUER SEALER directly from container using applicator, roller or brush. Use only one coat of LACQUER SEALER. LACQUER SEALER will dry dust-free in 45 minutes. Allow two hour drying time before applying finish coat. Use LACQUER THINNER to clean applicators or brushes. Do not use on asphalt tile, rubber tile, plastic tile or linoleum.
For proper intercoat VOC regulated finishes must be applied in as thin a coat possible. Material cannot be thinned and therefor a coverage rate of 600 sq. ft. per gallon should be established. Heavy application of sealer coat may lead to peeling, cracking or chipping of finish. Thorough sanding of sealer is necessary for adhesion of finish coat. Lacquer sealer or sanding lacquer sealer should not be used as a sealer for polyurethane (gloss, semi gloss or satin.) Lacquer sealer will prevent bonding and proper adhesion between the polyurethane and the wood floor. Since correct application of sealer and finish coat, and proper sanding between coats is beyond the manufacturer’s control, the manufacturer will not be responsible for peeling or chipping of finish. Risk and responsibility for these conditions shall solely belong to the contractor applying the finish.
