RECOMMENDED USE: Seals and protects bare wood and acts as a base for polyurethane finish. This sealer is excellent when a fast dry time and high build are desired. Fast Dry Sanding Sealer may be used on new natural floors, new stained floors, or resands. Not recommended with gameline paints. Abrade sealer between coats with a new 150 grit screen. Maroon pads are not sufficient.
PREPARATION: For new installation or resands remove all existing finish on floor according to NWFA/MFMA sanding standards. Sweep and vacuum. If applying stain, allow stain to dry thoroughly before applying seal coat.
COVERAGE: Approximately 500 sq. ft. per gallon.
APPLICATION: STIR SEALER THOROUGHLY. Sealer may be applied with a 1/4” nap roller, brush, lamb’s wool, T-bar, or EZ-Way. Once dried, abrade with new 150 grit and tack with water. Fast Dry may be top coated with any PoloPlaz waterborne or oil-modified finish. Allow floor to thoroughly dry and abrade before application of subsequent coats.
DRY TIME: 3 hours @ 70˚F and 55% relative humidity to topcoat with oil (varies with conditions). Overnight dry for H2O.
PRECAUTIONS: Adverse drying conditions (low temperature, high humidity, heavy application) will delay curing time. STIR WELL BEFORE USE. Professional use only. Do not thin. Never use floor scrubbers or cleaning machines that disperse water on hardwood floors for maintenance.
