NEW FLOORS:
After NSB coats have been abraded and tacked, paint game lines with PoloPlaz waterbase paint. Once game lines have dried thoroughly, abrade paint with 3M SPP with 180 disks. Vacuum paint dust, then tack with water, and apply third coat of NSB over the paint. Catalyze Express according to instructions on catalyst bottle. Eliminate direct air drafts on floor during application. Apply Express with a T-bar @ 400 sf/gal. Increase airflow when film has become tack free. Wait 4 – 6 hours before next coat (under normal conditions: 65 – 80˚ F and 40 – 60% RH). High humidity and cooler temperatures may extend dry times. If more than 15 hours have elapsed between coats, the floor must be abraded before next coat. Generally, three coats of seal and one coat of Express will provide adequate protection for the floor. However, use your professional discretion to achieve desired results.
SCREEN & COATS:
Clean floor with Craftsman’s Choice Tie Tack solution prior to screening. Screen floor thoroughly with new 120 grit. Vacuum, then tack with water (no mineral spirits). Allow floor to completely dry. Generally, two coats of Express will provide adequate protection for the floor. However, use your professional discretion to achieve desired results.
MAINTENANCE and CLEANUP:
For daily cleaning, use PoloPlaz Hardwood Floor Cleaner. Follow directions that accompany the cleaner. Do not use automatic floor scrubbers on hardwood floors. This will void the warranty on the floor. Tools may be cleaned with water.
