Polo 1K Elite Defender is a unique single component clear waterborne finish reformulated for extreme durability and ease of use. PREPARATION:
For new floors, abrade NSB seal coat with 180 grit screens or 3M SPP with 180 discs. Tack with towels lightly dampened with PoloPlaz Court Care Cleaner or PoloPlaz Tie Tack. For screen/scrub and recoats, first clean the floor with PoloPlaz Court Restore or PoloPlaz Tie Tack. Then a-braid with 180 grit screens or maroon SPP pads. Rinse with PoloPlaz Court Care Cleaner or PoloPlaz Tie Tack.
APPLICATION:
Eliminate direct air drafts on floor during application. Apply with a lightweight T-bar @ 400-500 sf/gal. Increase airflow when film has become tack free. Wait a minimum 2-4 hours before applying the second coat (under normal conditions: 65-80°F and 40-60% RH). High humidity and cooler temperatures may extend dry times. If more than 15 hours have elapsed between coats, the floor must be abraded before next coat. Generally, two coats of NSB and one coat of finish will provide adequate protection for new floors. However, use your professional discretion to achieve desired results.
MAINTENANCE and CLEANUP:
For daily cleaning use PoloPlaz Court Care Cleaner. Follow directions that accompany the cleaner. Tools may be cleaned with water.

After Inhalation: If inhaled, remove person to fresh air and place in a position comfortable for breathing. Keep person at rest. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, provide artificial respiration. If experiencing respiratory symptoms, seek medical advice/attention.
After Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Rinse skin with copious amounts of water (shower) for several minutes. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. If symptoms develop or persist, seek medical advice/attention.
After Eye Contact: Rinse eyes with plenty of water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do so. Protect unexposed eye. If symptoms develop or persist, seek medical advice/attention. Rinse eyes with plenty of gently flowing lukewarm water for 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do so. Protect unexposed eye. If symptoms develop or persist, seek medical advice/attention.
After Swallowing: If swallowed. DO NOT induce vomiting unless told to do so by a physician or poison control center. Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If spontaneous vomiting occurs, place on the left side with head down to prevent aspiration of liquid into the lungs. If symptoms develop or persist, seek medical advice/attention.
If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/sttention.
Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
