ABSCO NXTGEN TRS Sealer is the latest technology in environmentally compliant wood floor sealers. ABSCO’s high quality Waterborne sealer is designed for residential, commercial and sport gym floors, and ready to sand in 2 – 4 hours, when applied according to directions.
EASY TO APPLY: ABSCO NXTGEN TRS Sealer is easy to apply with tannin resistant characteristics.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Proper surface preparation is essential to achieve a high-quality finish.
INSTRUCTIONS: Commercial/Residential Floors: Final screen with 120 or 150 grit and vacuum thoroughly. On raw wood, apply first coat of Grand NXTGEN TRS Sealer with roller applicator or a T-bar @ 500 sf/gal. Product will soak in quickly. Allow first coat to dry 2 – 4 hrs. Apply second coat at same rate and allow to dry overnight. Next day, abrade with maroon pad with 180 grit disks. Vacuum floor and tack with towels lightly dampened with water. Allow to thoroughly dry before top coating with Absco finish. On stained floors, apply Absco stain according to instructions on stain label. Allow to dry completely. Next, apply two coats of Grand NXTGEN TRS Sealer and allow 2 – 4 hours dry time between coats. If applying second coat next day, abrade first coat with maroon pad with 180 grit disks.
NEW OR NEWLY SANDED FLOORS: Make several passes with the sandpaper, increasing the paper fineness with each pass. The final pass before application of ABSCO Grand NXTGEN should be with 120 or 150 grit screen disc or sandpaper. Remove dust completely by sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping the floor with a lint free cloth lightly dampened with mineral spirits.
THINNING INSTRUCTIONS: ABSCO products are ready to use from the can, no thinning necessary.
APPLICATION: When applying ABSCO products over a stain, make sure that the stain has dried properly. Check the directions on the stain package, as different brands will have different drying times. Most oil-based stains would require a minimum of 24 hours before top coating. Apply ABSCO products with the grain of the wood. After ABSCO has dried, screen the floor with a 150-grit screen disc or 180 grit sandpaper strip on maroon pad between coats.
DRYING TIME: When applied according to directions, ABSCO Grand NXTGEN TRS should be ready to sand in just 2 – 4 hours. Heavy sealer application, high humidity, or lack of air flow will extend drying times.
COVERAGE: 500 sq. feet per gallon.
CLEAN-UP: Use warm water to clean brushes and applicators.
